This year has been no exception by starting out the 2004
season being selected as “Industry Manufacturer of the
Year” by USUA (United States Ultralight Association). This
is a first for a Powered Parachute manufacturer. There are
over 100 fixed wing, trike or ppc manufacturers. Thank you

help with the Search and Recovery of the Debris
from the Space Shuttle Columbia, Powrachute dealers and

was approached by the Salvation Army Disaster Service
to assist in national disasters such as the Devastating
Tornado Damage in Kansas in the spring of 2003.
Powrachute was successful in providing aerial video to the
Salvation Army, which was then provided to families to help
in insurance adjusting for their homes. |

Powrachute is also the Powered Parachute Industry Leader in preparation for the new Sport
Pilot and Light Sport Aircraft Ruling by the FAA.
Powrachute has been working hard for the last 2 years with
MAMTC (Mid-America Manufacturers Technology Center)
to structure the ASTM Standardization required by the
new ruling. Powrachute is ready and will be able to make the
transition and implement this new process at any time.

Powrachute spent 14 months in R & D before
Introducing the Powrachute the PC2000. They purchased
three of the leading manufactured powered parachutes out on
the market at that time. After much hard work and product
testing Powrachute was ready to introduce the PC2000, the
first powered parachute with Frontal Bars Which Became a
Trademark for All Powrachute’s Products. |

third weekend in September in Columbus Kansas. The

When Bill Gargano of Quantum Parachutes designed
the Sky Bolt Eclectic chute, he came to Powrachute to
utilize there aircraft for testing. This is the same
parafoil used on NASA’s X-38 escape module. |

register all its two-place powerchutes before they are
delivered to the customer. |

manufacturer to test the glide shield concept.
Unfortunately at an airspeed of 30 mph it did not enhance
glide or improve landing capabilities or lowering RPM’s. |
